Reading: This week we are falling into fall! We will read two wonderful fall stories, Barn Dance and The Little Scarecrow Boy. We are focusing on verbs and the “ing” or “ed” endings. I have included a chart you can use to help your child review the “ing” and “ed” endings.
Math: I am sending home subtraction facts each day. Please review the subtraction facts daily. Memorization of the subtraction facts WILL help your child as we learn subtraction of two digit subtraction. We will start two digit subtraction this week!
Science: We are going BATTY for BATS! This week we are learning about these interesting little mammals. By the end of the week, each child will research and share a particular type of bat.
