Welcome to Bear Branch Elementary's Reading Recovery Web Page    We are looking forward to having a great year as we work with your child in Reading Recovery.  Reading Recovery is a highly effective short-term intervention of one-to-one tutoring for first graders to help them become strategic in their reading and writing.  Individual students receive a half hour lesson each school day for 10 to 20 weeks.      Each night your child will be bringing home a bookbag with a few activities.  It is very important that you find the time to complete these activities with your child.  We truly appreciate your support in this matter.  Please be sure to contact us if you have any questions.  If you click on our name, you may send us an email.
