During the final nine weeks we will be focusing on Spring.  We are currently researching butterflies and watching the life cycle of the butterfly.  Next we will study plants.  We will end the year with a large unit on dinosaurs!  The children will really enjoy this unit! It is very important that you remind your children that we will be working until May 25th!  Please help them to stay focused on their school work.   Our end of the year party will take place on May 25th!  I will send home information at the end of April. Daily Student Homework:  Students are to read their assigned stories to their parent(s).  Parents, please read the parent book to your children.  Also, students need to practice/review their spelling list daily.  Language homework will be to take 4 to 6 spelling words and write a story.  The story will need to be turned in every Friday.  Spelling tests will be on Fridays.  If not completed in class, side B in Math will be sent home as homework.   If you have any questions or concerns, please call, send a note, or e-mail me.                                        Sincerely,                                     Ms. Hughes
