I expect my students:

  1. come to class with supplies
  2. do homework to the best of their ability
  3. bring homework to class on time
  4. be in school unless illness, and try to schedule appointments at a time other than math class
  5. behave in class
  6. stay on task and allow all students time to learn
  7. willing to try something new
  8. ask questions when confused
  9. have an open mind
  10. realize that sometimes my best response may be another question
  11. remember we are all human and will make mistakes but this is a part of learning
  12. have fun in an appropriate manner

Test 60%
Daily 40%

Discipline
I believe my students can act in an appropriate manner.
I reteach the student the appropriate action.
I give student conference to enable the student to understand the appropriate behavior.
Contact with parent if behavior is a trend.
The student will be written on a discipline referral after warnings.
If the behavior is severe an immediate referral is made.

I try to remain fair and realize we are all human.
