        c.  Analyze hormones as they relate to growth patterns
        d.  Communicable diseases
        e.  Disease Transmission


PE Class Design

Class Design:  The class is divided into three parts...

1. Stretching and aerobic warm up
2. Sponge activities (students choose their activity)
   Example: basketball, volleyball, jumpropes or hula hoops
3. Sports Skills

Class Objective:
The students will participate in a variety of activities that promote cardiovascular endurance, sports skills and fun.

Sport Units: Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Soccer and Track & Field

Grading Criteria:  70% Dressing out and participation
                           30% Written work/tests/quizzes
