The letter, sound, and formation of " Aa to Hh" and the numbers " 18 to 20";

Concept of numbers "18 to 20"- writing it and counting it ; grouping it in different ways, simple addition, patterns using plastic and paper ocean animals;

Concepts of the calendar and weather ;

Practicing left and right and simple patterns--"What Comes Next?"

Review of circle shape and square, triangle, rectangle;diamond, and oval

Review of all primary colors, gray, and pink ;

Big Books and little books related to - DLM Unit-- " Ocean Life"

Projects related to ocean animals;

Fun songs and fingerplays related to ocean life, etc.; ;

Ordering the alphabet letters such as A,B,C or G,H,I; ordering numbers 1 to 20, several at a time;

Matching simple words and "filling in" missing letters of simple words, following the use of magnetic letters to spell them;

Using a pencil correctly.

Reminders:

Please sign your child's folder each night.

Send a healthy snack with your child; if possible, send a storebought snack to share.

Practice cutting with your child, as well as writing his or her first name, counting objects, recognizing numbers and letters. Read to your child as often as possible. Begin to have your child "match" simple words that are used in the books you read together.; "Play" letter and number recognition games with your child. Thank-you!
