So long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Good Bye,  After 36 years in education I have decided to join my husband in retirement.  I have spent the past 21years here in Magnolia, teaching at Bear Branch Elementary and then coming to J.L. Lyon were I have spent the past 11 years as vice principal.   It is with a mixture of sadness and delight I head on to the next chapter of my life.  I shall miss all the children, their delight in each day, and their unique views on life.  On the other hand I look forward to spending time with my husband, traveling, Gardening,  and just lounging the days away!   To all of you have touched my life, thank-you.   To my daughter Mindy I have enjoyed working with you and getting to see you grow as a teacher,  This year's Elementary Teacher of the Year. To my Friends I have made along the way, Mr. Ronnie Reed, a great principal to work for,  all the staff at J.L. Lyon, and Mitzi Springfield, Belinda Thrasher, Lisa Bertrand, Dana Wilkerson, Mona Johnston, and Mary Carpenter, thanks for being part of my years in education.    It has truly been wonderful! My leaving is bittersweet! Goodbye!
