Spring is here!  Hola! from Mrs. Gonzales' fantastic Third graders!
Be sure to keep reading fifteen minutes each day. We have been busy working on interpreting graphic organizers, and identifying fact and opinion in our reading materials.  We are also applying that to experiences and prior knowledge to infer information
.
Congratulations to the students that returned their reading calendars.  Enjoy your pizza at Pizza Hut!

Remember to use your TAKS strategies with your homework.  1)Underline the title. 2) Read over the questions before you begin the story.  3)Read the selection carefully and slowly. 4)Answer your questions. 5)Go back in your reading and prove your answer choice. 6)Remember to do that by finding the information in the selection that backs up the answer you have chosen. 7)Underline this informationa nd label it with the question number. All questions have some proof  int he selection that  show  how you choose that answer.  8)Check  your work again carefully.

Congratulations to all our third graders on doing thier best on the TAKS test!
