Dear Parents, As Counselor at Williams Elementary, my primary goal is to assist students in reaching their potential and help them become effective learners. I strive to complement the classroom through programs that are both preventative and developmental. I will be available to help students with different situations that may arise during the school year. I will be available to see students individually, and in small groups, when requested by parents and teachers and determined appropriate. These services are short-term, voluntary, and confidential. I will request parent permission before any individual or group counseling begins. I will also present Classroom Guidance lessons throughout the year in your child's classroom.  All students can benefit from learning how to solve problems, make decisions, communicate effectively, increase social skills, manage stress, and enhance self-esteem.
