I can't believe half of the year is already over. Your students are doing very well.

Last week we took a district-wide benchmark test in Math. The students performed very well.

Report cards go home Monday, January 10, 2005. The reading levels are improving every day.

Please remember to read with your student every night. This the single most important thing

that you can do to help your child improve in first grade. Spelling words are becoming more

more and more difficult. If your child is struggling, you might try having practice spelling test
