A Great Place to Be!      Here at Nichols Sawmill Elementary, you can hear that motto throughout the day.  That's one of our goals together every day--to make our school a place that we all enjoy as we learn and grow together.   We believe in being a family as we all strive to be our best in every way.  We have high academic standards that we expect all our students to reach.  We stress personal and social goals to help our students realize their potential.   This year is the second year that our school has been in existence.  Parents, staff, and students are proud of their beautiful new building.  The library is at the center of the building and is always a busy place as students eagerly seek a new book or look for information.  Students enjoy the morning assembly where we build our family through songs, dance, patriotism, and school spirit.          We welcome the input of parents and community members as we work to build this school environment together.  If you would like to speak with me,  please call the school at 281-259-9558 to set up an appointment or reach me by phone.  We invite you to join our active PTO organization that assists our school in many ways.    We look forward to making 2003-2004 another fantastic school year.
