Welcome Back to School!

Howdy!  My name is Mona Johnston, and I am the Assistant Principal at Nichols Sawmill Elementary School.  I have had the honor of working with the NSE Bulldogs since we opened two years ago.  It is my job to act as a support to our teachers, students and parents in any way needed.  I enjoy seeing our students grow and develop as they learn.  We have such a great group of students at NSE! 

I have a long history in Magnolia I.S.D.  I moved to the Magnolia area when I was in 5th grade and have been here ever since!  I began working at Lyon Elementary School seven years ago, where I taught third and fourth grades.  Magnolia is truly my home sweet home, and I definitely bleed maroon (thanks to my time spent as a Bulldog and then as an Aggie!).
