Dear Parents and Students, I teach both Math and Science classes.The following list of supplies and encouragement is the same for both subjects. Tutoring is offered after-school for Math on Thursday and Science on Tuesday.  This is a 40 minute session, 2:20-3:00 with pick-up no later than 3:15.  Students are encouraged to attend if he/she misses class or has a grade less than 70 on any assignment.  My hope is that we will all have a successful school year.  Welcome to Sixth Grade. Ms. Pontiff Needs of the Classroom (supplies): Daily your student should bring his/her supplies to class. *One 70 sheet spiral notebook *Binder with a divider section for Math or Science *hand-held pencil sharpener *red pen *#2 pencils(2 or more) *colored pencils *highlighter (any color) Students, For better class organization of materials received each day, a 2" binder with subject dividers is also recommended.  Handouts should be hole-punched in class and placed in the students' binder.  You can also get a 3 hole pencil bag to hold writing utensils and place this inside the binder.  Supplies and organization is key to the student's success!
