Hello, You have entered Bobby Granger's web page for Magnolia 6th Grade Computer Technology and Application. This one semester class teaches proper keyboarding and several types of computer applications. For Keyboarding, we use a program called Ultra-Key. After 6 weeks of daily keyboardings and I-Safe practice, students will learn how to understand and construct a blog, wiki, story telling, publish various digital documents, and other basic computer applications. Students are required to maintain a folder of all graded materials. There is very little homework in Keyboarding, but students should always use correct technique when using a keyboard outside the classroom. Besides improving our grammar, our number one goal is to master the location of each letter and number on the keyboard.  Students are not allowed to see the keyboard and must use the correct fingers which correspond with each key.
