Welcome to the 4th Grade Web Page for Magnolia Elementary School Important Upcoming Events On May 1, we will venture to Washington on the Brazos! TAKS Testing The Math TAKS is on 4/18/06. The Reading TAKS is on 4/19/06. Please make sure your child gets a good night of rest and a "brain-healthy" breakfast! New Classrooms! All 4th and 5th grade students moved into their new classrooms on Monday, March 20th.  Please feel free to come by and check out our new location. Homework Look for your child's Student Organizer in their binder.  This will give you information about what your child's homework is each night. Language Arts classes will have the following homework schedule:         Monday - Spelling         Tuesday - Reading Comprehension         Wednesday - Handwriting         Thursday - Spelling and Study Skills In addition, make sure your child is studying spelling words every night at home.  There is a spelling test every Friday. Math homework varies depending on the teacher.  Mrs. George's homework is primarily a page of Daily Moose Math, which is 9 math problems per night. Parent / Teacher Communication Look for your child's Tuesday folder, which contains their work for the previous week, conduct and behavior reports and other important information for you.  Please sign and return each Wednesday.  Thanks so much for your cooperation!
